Movie night

20 Apr

Thanks to Orange Wednesdays, I can tackle the list of existing movies I want to watch, like Red Riding Hood, Source Code and Scream 4. Tonight’s movie was Red Riding Hood. Let’s just say I’m glad I didn’t pay full price to watch the movie. It had lots of potential to be a dark twist on the fairy tale, but ended up being rather hokey and cheesy.

Muesli: dried banana chips, brazil nuts, passionfruit, blueberries & strawberries with Onken set natural yogurt

– Mentaiko wholewheat spaghetti
– Grilled purple sprouting broccoli, green beans in garlic puree

Little snack box of mayan mocha (blanched almonds, dark chocolate coffee beans, physalis & raisins), Graze

– Green leaf salad with chicken
– Ratatouille

Dinner at Nando’s before the movie. Accidentally ordered medium spiciness for the chicken. Mouth on fire! Still very tasty though.

Kudos on the Nandos trip although I find it hard to believe that medium was such a challenge for a palate as experienced as yours.
Red Riding Hood will hopefully be the death knell of the tedious let’s add Vampire/Werewolves formula that has left the entire genre about as hard hitting as Dawsons Creek.

Hmm perhaps you forget that I don’t eat chili?
