Dinner at Westfield with the girls

24 May

It’s my third time at Westfield Shopping Centre. The place is huge! I do like the wide open spaces and the very large Boots. And have discovered the train ride, if timed right, only takes about 6 min from home. Perhaps I should visit more often.

Breakfast

– Three seed spelt toast with cashew butter
– Red grapefruit

Lunch

– Carrot & coriander soup
– Salad of cherry tomatoes, baby carrots & grilled artichokes
– Half a spelt onion & linseed crispbread, not pictured

Mid-afternoon

– Strawberries
– 1 Village Bakery seed bar
– Vita Coco coconut water

Dinner

– Goi Cuon – rice paper prawn rolls
– Bun Cha Gio Chay – vermicelli with tofu & mushrooms

The Westfield food court is really nice – wish there were more like this in London.  The tofu & mushrooms were way too salty, and suspect too much MSG was used in the dishes. I was really thirsty for the rest of the night. The branch at Oxford Circus is definitely much better.

There is a Nandos at Westfield. This fact renders the presence of all other food outlets irrelevant.

It isn’t always about Nando’s, you know.
